His Excellency Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup, Abbot of Kopan Monastery will be giving a very rare initiation, Vajrapani-Hayagriva-Garuda initiation in CGC on 22nd October 2008. This is espeicially beneficial for those who have stroke, cancer and other skin diseases - all of which are the cause of naga harms as explained by Kybje Lama Zopa Rinpoche. And, those who practice this may heal themselves of all these sicknesses, and of course protect themselves from these sicknesses too.

Those who don't know what initation is and those who are not ready to take any initiation, can also attend this initiation in the form of blessings from the three deities, Vajrapani-Hayagriva-Garuda.

And for those who would like to contribute to world peace should come to attend the oral transmission of the King of Glorious Sutras called the Exalted Sublime Golden Light. After receiving oral transmission, it is said that it will be more powerful when reciting the Sutra. The benefits of this Sutra are incredible, just by reading the first chapter, it will inspire one to read the whole Sutra many times. I attached here a soft copy (both English and Chinese) of the Sutra for those who would like to read.

Oral transmission of Heart Sutra will be given by H.E. Khenrinpoche too. The recitation of Heart Sutra will help one achieve realisation in emptiness - which is necessarily to achieve full enlightenment.

The practice of Calm Abiding (single-pointed meditation) is a must for those who want to achieve some realisations. H.E. Khenrinpoche will be teaching this topic on 20th Oct, 7pm.

And of course, don't miss the opening ceremony of CGC by H.E. Khenrinpoche on 19th Oct, Sunday 10:30am.........

CGC welcomes everyone to this very wonderful activities at our new center.

Message from CGC President

We are extremely pleased to be able to announce that CGC's new gompa (praying hall) is ready to receive Khenrinpoche from Kopan Monastery from 19th-22nd October. To all the benefactors, donors, helpers of CGC, we are extremely delighted to be able to show you some photos of CGC's new building and prayer hall - all your help/contributions have now turned into a wonderful dharma center to benefit a lot of people.

CGC would like to thank all of you sincerely for your contributions (in whatever form), especially to those who helped contributed in our fund raising dinner back in May this year. Without your contribution, CGC would never be able to have such a nice prayer hall. As such, CGC will be working towards spread dharma further by introducing more dharma clasess in due course.

Our 7 Medicine Buddhas statues (measuring 24 inches) were beautifully hand made by famous Nepali artists, had just arrived last night. The statues were filled up with a vast number of very holy mantras by the sanghas and members of LDC (Losang Dragpa Center in KL) and were consecrated by Khenrinpoche over the weekend in KL.

We cordially invite everyone to our opening ceremony by His Excellency Khenrinpoche Lama Lhundrup on 19th October, 10:30am, to see the new building and prayer hall, and to get blessings from Khenrinpoche.
