A note from Ven. Osel on Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche's teaching in LIVE webcast
Dear friends,
Just want to share with you that in the past 10 days morning I have been watching Rinpoche's teaching in LIVE webcast. A few days ago, when Rinpoche started the teaching, He led everyone on Seven Limbs Prayer, and when it came to the Limb of Offering, Rinpoche led everyone to visualize all the water offering, flower offering, lights offering in His house in Aptos, Californis and Washington, then Rinpoche also mentioned about the 100,000 lights offering in Amitabha Buddhist Center in Singapore, after this, Rinpoche then also mentioned the 40,000 lights offering in CGC!!! But then Rinpoche said that the lights in CGC only turn on at night, so He said He is not sure whether the lights are on now??!!!!! I got a shocked when I heard this and have to quickly run upstair to turn on all the lights because the lights are usually switched off in the morning. So on that day morning, the moment the lights were switched off, Rinpoche mentioned immediately "he is not sure whether the lights are on or not???!!!" ... It is like He knows we just switched it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ooooppppssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two days ago, at the end of the teaching, Rinpoche received a note which was passed to him by the attendant. Somebody request for prayer to a young mongolian girl, who hit in an accident and is in coma for 7 days. Rinpoche then led everyone to chant Medicine Buddha Names and Mantra, and visualization and dedicate for her. Just now, Rinpoche received another note again, saying that the mongolian girl has woken up and now is able to speak!!!!!!! Rinpoche said wao.... and start to thank everyone for the prayer, and thank Medicine Buddha as well.... and everyone applauded... and some voice from the participant thank Rinpoche too....
Isn't it amazing???!!!
Just to share with you all....How fortunate we are to have such realized humble wonderful perfect GURU!!!!!
Have a nice day as usual....

The Journey of Reincarnation It is part of our life that everyone will finally get on this journey. How do we prepare for this journey and how does this journey look like? What are the four elements & how do the four elements dissolve? When does our consciousness leave our body? What does Intermediate State Being mean? Do we take rebirth within 49 days?
Join us to find out about our special journey at the end of this life, so that we can plan our future lives. It is important for us to learn and plan properly before this journey begins, and the sooner we find out about this, we stand a better chance of not taking rebirth in the lower reams (eg, hell beings, hungry ghosts, and animals) when death suddenly descends upon us.
The workshop will be concluded with an Extensive Medicine Buddha Puja dedicated for your good health and happiness from life after life.

Interactive 5 Days Lam Rim Retreat
Date: 27th August 2010 (Friday) – 31st August 2010 (Tuesday)
Time: 10am – 5pm
Venue: Chokyi Gyaltsen Center
All the 84,000 teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni are contained in Lam Rim in the most structured manner, giving us a proper understanding of dharma starting with kindergarten level to advanced level. Often we attend dharma talk on an ad hoc basis, and the dharma topics seem so sporadical. Our understandings of dharma are so out of place. Learning dharma becomes so boring.
Here is the schedule for the Interactive Lam Rim Retreat:
10.00am - 10.30am Meditation
10.30am - 12.30pm Teaching - Session 1
12.30pm - 01.30pm Lunch Break
01.30pm - 03.00pm Q & A or Debate Session
03.00pm - 03.30pm Tea Break
03.30pm - 05.00pm Teaching - Session 2
Kindly register with Ms. Stephanie at fpmt.cgc@gmail.com or 012 - 428 2929 for Lam Rim Retreat and submit to us latest on 15th August 2010.
